The Supreme Court of Georgia Committee on Justice for Children administers the federally-funded Court Improvement Project to develop and implement a data-driven plan for continuous improvement in juvenile dependency cases. To advance this goal, the Committee employs two full-time staff, utilizes several AOC staff and many volunteer professionals to implement several projects across the state. These projects include:
- The Guardian ad Litem in Dependency Cases: A Guide to Best Interest Advocacy (2020)
- Multi-Disciplinary Child Abuse and Neglect Institute (MD-CANI)
- The Cold Case Project
- The Annual Child Welfare Summit
- Court Process Reporting System (CPRS)
- Court Improvement Initiative (CII)
